Today (March 8)  is an International Women's Day!
Best wishes to all the extraordinary ladies in my life!

It is a major global event devoted to celebrate the economic, political and social achievements of women of past, present and future. This year is extra special as we are celebrating for the 100th time!

This year's celebration theme is  “Access and participation of women and girls in education, training, science and technology, including for the promotion of women’s equal access to full employment and decent work.”

Secretary Hillary Clinton launched the "100 Women Initiative: Empowering Women and Girls through International Exchanges"  a year-long series of events bringing 100 women leaders from 92 countries to the United States to talk about key issues directly affecting women and girls worldwide.

Why we need to keep reminding the world about our achievements? Check out the provocative video created for March 8 by weareequals.org
